Made by Hand is a series of short films which, at their core, show people working hard at things they love.
Each film aims to promote that which is made locally, sustainably, and with a love for craft. Based in Brooklyn, the project takes its influence from the handmade movement here and elsewhere. We hope you find the spirit of it inspiring.

In 2006 Sir Ken Robinson addressed a group of lucky attendees to the then new TED conference in the US. It has since gone on to be one of the worlds most viewed online lectures.
What we find striking about was Ken says is just how many of us feel that we are not creative, or that we don’t have a creative bone in our body. The truth is that we are all inherently creative. We are born with creativity it and we die with it but whether or not we choose to use our talents is another matter entirely. Enjoy.
